Description:
Cisco released a security advisory to address the vulnerability in the web interface of the Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA). An unauthenticated remote attacker could exploit the vulnerability by sending a specially crafted HTTP request to an affected system.
Researchers report that exploitations of the vulnerability (CVE-2018-0296) are observed. Users are advised to take immediate action to patch the affected systems since there is elevated risk of cyber attacks for the vulnerability.

Impact:
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability could lead to information disclosure, denial of services or system reload on an affected system.
